Supporting Innovation and Women in Digital: eCommerce Day East Africa Announces Startup Finalists and eWomen Networking Boost

This event will bring together a diverse group of regional and global experts, business leaders, and entrepreneurs to discuss the current trends and opportunities shaping digital commerce across East Africa.

Nairobi, Kenya – The eCommerce Day East Africa | Kenya is set to take place from November 18th to November 20th, offering a dynamic three-day event designed to inspire and empower professionals in the e-commerce industry. Hosted by the eCommerce Institute in partnership with USAID and eTrade Alliance, this event will highlight the latest trends, opportunities, and innovations in the digital commerce landscape, while fostering collaboration and networking among industry leaders.

 

The event will kick off on November 18th with a 100% online program, providing participants across the region with valuable insights and discussions from top industry experts. The in-person event will follow on November 19th at the Emara Ole Sereni Hotel in Nairobi, where attendees will have the opportunity to engage face-to-face with key players in the e-commerce ecosystem. On November 20th, a special VIP-only activity will take place, offering exclusive networking and growth opportunities for top-tier attendees.

One of the highlights of the in-person event on November 19th will be the final of the Startup Competition. This global initiative by the eCommerce Institute aims to promote digital ventures and support projects with high development potential in the digital commerce ecosystem. Startups from across the region have competed for a spot in the final, with 11 startups selected to present their innovative solutions in front of a distinguished panel of judges:
