In this hands on working session, eCommerce Day Africa has partnered with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Strathmore University Business School, as the leader of the USAID Kenya Small Business Development Centers, to share and analyze the experiences of small businesses in both Africa and the U.S. in using ecommerce to trade across borders.
The session will include leaders from both organizations, as well as select SMEs from the U.S. and Africa. These businesses will share stories and discuss their experiences navigating the intricate landscape of cross-border e-commerce.
In an era defined by digital connectivity and global trade, these SMEs have experienced a multitude of challenges, from logistical complexities to regulatory hurdles, and with institutional support of the SBA and SBDCs have successfully found a way to forge prosperous business partnerships across different continents.
