I am a talented, well-experienced, and established Kenyan Blockchain expert with a keen interest in all matters Web 3.0. Aside from having a strong passion for Blockchain, I also have a bachelor’s degree in Financial Economics and a certificate in Software Development.
I developed my interest in Blockchain after completing my undergraduate studies, and after venturing into the Blockchain space, I can confidently state that specializing in Cryptocurrency and Blockchain is my calling. I have so far acquired four years’ worth of working experience in the Blockchain space, where I have engaged in various roles and positions that have helped me develop the needed skills and knowledge to help any organization grow its market share and establish strong relationships with its customers. For instance, I have worked as a community manager for KuBitX Exchange from October 2018 to January 2020. I managed the BitcoinKE Crypto Community in the year 2020. Also, I, lead a team to in growing the largest crypto community in Kenya Paxful Kenya Community as the Kenya Community Coordinator from February 2020 to April 2021.
My career journey not only involves prioritizing my career development in the Blockchain space but I have also engaged in various initiatives that promote increased involvement of the Kenyan youth in the industry, especially women. I have, so far, been nominated to speak in several forums where I offer insight on various topics regarding Cryptocurrency and Blockchain. For instance, I was one of the speakers at the 2022 Africa Digital Finance Summit, I have also been nominated to talk at the Ethereum Nairobi Meet-up (September 2021), as well as at numerous webinars organized by different organizations operating in the Blockchain space. Not to mention that I have been invited by different higher education institutions, including Strathmore University, to speak to undergraduate and postgraduate students on matters of Blockchain.
